Hi there, I'm Rachel. I'm a 21 year old college graduate (I can finally say that!) who majored in computer science and math and I'm hella nerdy. I'm probably the biggest Avatar fan you will ever meet. I blog about my life, Avatar, Dragonlance, books, Jewish things, vegetarian things, and super cute animals (especially bunnies!) I love making new friends, so please message me if you want to talk! ^_^

So, I said I wanted that reunion… therefore, the boat never explodes! Tarrlok’s all like, “Well, I don’t know about starting over with a whole new life, bro, but fixing up that old one we used to have sounds possible.” And then they tell each other bad jokes for the rest of their journey.

And after mom stops crying, she bursts out with: “Now where are my grand-children!

And they’re like uhhhhh

We’ll get on that

Well ouch, right in the sentiments.

Wow, that hurts.

Right in the heart.

;-;

Here’s a video of my AMV playing at the Connecticon masquerade and of me receiving my award!

Watching this was very amusing for me. I was so freaked out when I won that I wasn’t even registering the audience’s reaction. I think it’s hilarious how people were hooting when Tahno shows up, and cheering for some of the Amon scenes!

Thank you so much to for the video!

Thoughts on Legend of Korra Season 1 Finale

nihilateral:

Most of the stuff on my dash right now is people expressing their shock about how poorly handled the finale was. I’d have to agree, but I don’t want to talk about all of that right now. I want to talk about this scene in particular:

I agree with this post 100%. It’s why I feel so conflicted about the finale, because this scene was so poignant and had so much emotional baggage, where the ending seemed to take away from those feelings.

I really don’t know what to think. I love LoK so much but I’m so conflicted!
